The United Mutual Association (UMA) was formerly known as "United Mutual Foundation".  It was founded more than 10 years ago by Jean Lai Tang, the founding chairman.  The purpose is to serve the community and lead the Chinese into the mainstream of society.  A lot of work has been done over the years.  Such as fundraising and helping people in need.
